This year for science we are studying Anatomy & Physiology. Our first lesson was an into to Anatomy & Physiology which ended with us making edible cells out of candy and Jell-O. It was great fun! Evelyn has to leave for ballet right as we were finishing, so she missed out on the picture taking.
Jell-O = cytoplasm
Peanut M&M = mighty mitochondria
Plain M&M = lysosomes
Smarties = Golgi body
Fruit Roll-up = endoplasmic reticulum
Sprinkles = ribosomes
Tubular sprinkles = centrioles
1/2 of an Orange Slice (we couldn’t find large gum drops) = nucleus
