What's New...

I realize by the reminders from people, who shall remain nameless (my mom, my sister and mil), that it's been awhile since I blogged.  There really hasn't been anything too exciting going on...

We are finishing our school year, just wrapping things up.  Our new school year will start 17 August and Sam will be joining Evelyn in our school adventures.  Our new school books came yesterday.  I love the UPS man!  He brings us so much fun stuff.

We did some picture hanging last night.  I had been working on getting pictures edited and printed and framed.  They have been all over the living room and we finally got them hung.  I'm still trying to decide if the vision I had in my head is the one that is now on my wall.  I was use to the blank wall.  It took me awhile to like our couch too, after awhile with just an empty room.  I still need to get pictures of my Grandma and Grandpa Allred and new baby Isaac.

Almost There...

Yesterday, Rick decided that it was time for Evelyn to learn how to ride a bike, so he took her training wheels off. When I told Kimberly this, she said, "Oh no!" For those of you that know me well, you know that bikes and I are on a strictly need to know basis. It was probably good I wasn't here when this was all taking place. Evelyn has some of my fear and is just a little bit (ha, ha) of a drama queen. That being said, she did GREAT! She is so close, it won't be long and she will be riding circles around us.

New Toy....

I have a new toy... and I love it!  It's the Xyron 900.  It laminates and puts permanent or removable adhesive on things, depending on the cartridge you put in.  It's very easy to use and doesn't need batteries or electricity.  Even a 2 year old can work it ....whole other story.  I've been going a little crazy laminating things.  I can't help myself!

Happy Birthday Sammy Boy!

Sam's birthday was on Monday, so sad that I couldn't even get these pictures up then.  We had a party for him on Saturday.  Most of my family was in town, it was grand fun!
